IDEA - Independent Dutch Eventmarketing Association

This association represents the 70 leading event agencies in the Netherlands.

Because IDEA strives for top quality and has very high quality demands concerning its members, clients of IDEA event agencies get the very best that the Dutch event market has to offer. This applies to the creativity, the overall quality and the financial stability of organized events. IDEA members also acknowledge the strategic importants of events in the current communications mix.

MPI, Meeting Professionals International, is the organisation which promotes and enriches the profession of conference and event organizers worldwide.

The structure of the member base is unique: 50% planners and 50% suppliers. Because of this healthy balance, the interest of its members are met in a lot of different ways. Improvement of member knowledge is accomplished by the organization of frequent educationals and several network meetings. The global network of MPI is an essential element of the membership. It enables world wide exchange of experiences, valuable tips and ideas. MPI is a internal organization, but also plays a big role in our industry on a national level.
