For the third time and with pleasure, Live Solutions realized the production of TEDxAmsterdam. The TED global management has expressed that they regard the Amsterdam edition of TEDx as the benchmark for all other TEDx events in the world.

A team of over 100 volunteers overviewed, filtered and structured the essential information. From 9.00 am, we had to be fully concentrated for 13 hours in a row to insure that the show to run as we envisioned it.

The TEDx Brain

TEDxAmsterdam is a lot of fun! Every year we work with a large group of inspiring people and dedicated suppliers. This year we worked n cooperation with Rogier van der Heijde, Chief Design Officer Philips Lighting and Arvid Buit, to install sustainable lighting. Collaboration with with advertising agency ‘We are Pi ‘ and the ‘The Dutch National Ballet’ consisting of 50 performers resulted in the opening show with the ‘The TEDx Brain’.

Inspiring program

The theme of TEDxAmsterdam 2011 was ‘Human Nature’. The speakers and the audience were looking for what it means to be a human being in a society that is dominated primarily by technology and economic issues. Scientists, entrepreneurs and artist presented their own perspectives on different aspects of human nature, capturing them in a mix of personal stories and imagination.
